Why Take on the Murph Challenge? Unleash Your Inner Warrior

Meet Murph, a workout that's more than just exercise—it’s a tribute to valor, perseverance, and fitness. Named in honor of Lt. Michael Murphy, a Navy SEAL who made the ultimate sacrifice in Afghanistan, the Murph is a test of endurance, strength, and mental toughness, now tailored for all fitness levels.

What is the Murph?

The Murph consists of a one-mile run, followed by 100 pull-ups, 200 push-ups, 300 squats, and another one-mile run, all performed while wearing a 20-pound vest or body armor. For those new or looking for less intensity, we offer modified versions ensuring everyone can participate and challenge themselves at a comfortable pace.

Why Do It?

1. Honor a Hero: Participating in the Murph is a profound way to remember and honor a true American hero. It’s more than fitness; it’s a tribute to those who serve and protect.

2. Test Your Limits, at Your Pace: Whether you’re a seasoned athlete or just beginning your fitness journey, Murph provides scalable challenges that respect your current fitness level.

3. Build Community: Done often on or around Memorial Day, the Murph unites athletes of all levels in a shared challenge, fostering powerful connections and mutual support.

4. Enhance Fitness Across All Levels: Regularly incorporating workouts like the Murph can significantly boost your endurance, strength, and overall health, no matter where you start.

Are you ready to take on the Murph? Challenge yourself and celebrate progress. Embrace the journey, honor a legacy, and discover your new heights of fitness.
